Making wise Decisions

While living the in the age of information we still lack wisdom. Wisdom is what ultimately helps us to make sound decisions, especially, when it comes to our eternal life. Jesus Christ, the Son of God is the only way for us to be reconciled with God and have an eternal life.

God’s love for you

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16 — NIV

All praise be to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, God, in His wisdom displayed His love through the sacrifice of our Jesus Christ. God’s will for us is to know Him and develop a relationship with Him through His Son.

What we have done

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23 — NIV

God is perfect and Holy, our sins have separated us from God forever–sin leads us to everlasting death. We with our own righteousness cannot please God regardless of our good deeds; therefore, we must receive the righteousness of His Son, Jesus Christ in order for us to be made right with God.

What God has done for humanity through Jesus Christ

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

John 3:17 — NIV

God send Jesus Christ, His Son into this world to die and pay the penalty for our sins. God is just; therefore, the wrath of God was laid on Jesus Christ and Christ Himself paid the price for the sin of mankind. We must receive the gift of God in order for us to be saved.

You see, at just the right time,s when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:6-8

We must accept the gift of God and turn from our sins

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:13

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Acts 4:12 — NIV
