It is a great encouragement for the follower of Jesus Christ, for, we have a personal relationship with God who never changes even though the world around us is changing rapidly. Our culture is changing and the worldview it carries is changing faster than we can imagine. At time, the circumstances of this world can frighten and leave the world hopeless; however, in Christ, we have a message of hope.
The knowledge and the character of God enables us understand that we are in God’s protection and He is our refuge. He is in control of our lives and we must rely on Him and make Him known in the midst of our affliction.
The promise of Redemption can be labeled us ‘MVP’–Most Valuable Promise. God promises to deliver man-kind and then provides His Son to die for our sins in order for us to be reconciled with God. If we place our faith and trust in Jesus, we then belong to God and have a personal relationship with Him.
The promises of God help us overcome adversity in our life as we face various circumstances. We must study the Word of God in order for us to come in contact with the promises of God and meditate on them. We will grow in our walk with God and help others rely on the same promises.
