We should take some time to think about the promises of God and meditate on them. If we were to pose a question to the believers–those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ and now are living a life under Christ’s Lordship and have a personal relationship with God–if they trust in the promises of God, the answer would be a resounding ‘Yes‘. The word of God is full of God’s promises and they are all ‘Yes’ in Jesus Christ. However, if we were to list the promises of God, we will not be able to name a dozen of them. The reason we are not able to name them is not that we do not trust in the promises of God, it is that we do not spend time in the Word of God where we come in contact with the promises of God.
Approaching it: join us in this journey
Let us take some time and approach the Word of God and come in contact with the promises of God and meditate them. It will not only give us the sense of who God is but it will help us overcome the adversity as we face the peril of life in this world.
We are praying for you and your family as you continue to rely on the promises of God and what God has done for us through His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
